If you do join us as a resident artist full membership is included in the cost of the studio.

About the Organisation
ArtsTrail is a non-profit independent facility, which exists to promote, strengthen and support visual arts practice, currently within Leamington Spa. It does this by providing support for practising artists: managing studio space, providing gallery space and administering sales, organising commissions, supporting collaborative working, and providing meeting and exhibition opportunities.
The ArtsTrail building in Leamington provide studio and gallery space for ArtsTrail Artists.
About our Building
The studios can accommodate a wide range of visual arts practices, and their open-plan style promotes interaction between artists. There is a kitchen area where artists can congregate, debate and share information.
The following is included in the studio fee:
- Studio space for visual artists and creative practitioners.
- Lighting, ventilation, storage and security.

The Leamington Studios
The building is a converted workshop, with the studios on the first floor.
- Fluorescent lighting.
- Some natural light through roof lights.
- Standard double electrical sockets.
- Access possible 24/7, even when the gallery is closed.
The monthly rent fee is payable by standing order. In addition there is a returnable deposit of one month’s rent. Minimum rental period is 3 months.
Studio holders are responsible for their own studio and are responsible for adherence to all health and safety issues relating to their own practice.
Each occupant will be expected to follow basic housekeeping rules regarding security and safety in the building. These rules will be outlined in the contract that all new studio holders will be asked to sign.
Additional costs: £20 key deposit required. One month’s rent will be payable in advance of your tenancy to be returned upon satisfactory inspection of the space at the end of your studio tenancy.
If studios are unavailable at time of application you will be added to the studio waiting list. We do not have an enforced turnover of studio space; however the studios do have a fairly regular natural turnover.

About Applying and Beyond
Arts Trail will aim to assess your application as soon as possible. The Arts Trail Artists Management Committee will view your application, and will arrange an informal meeting for you to discuss your practice further and answer any questions that you have. Arts Trail may also invite you to a monthly members meeting in order to meet existing studio holders and other members.
Should your application for studio space be unsuccessful for any reason, we do hope that you would still be interested in becoming an Arts Trail member. Arts Trail is always recruiting new members and offers a range of benefits for everyone. These currently include:
